VTT: Children's tea sets

I am joining Coloradolady this week for Vintage Thingy Thursday, and My Cottage Charm for Treasures and Trinkets Thursday.  See what other people are sharing - click on the icons above.
As Coloradolady suggests, when you have three of something, you have a collection...

Today: Children's and doll tea sets.  This incomplete set is from a Goodwill in Massachusetts.  It's the right size for a little girl to have a party with her dolls, or with friends.  Each piece is marked "Made in Japan".  I have seen this pattern before - just not at the right price.

The next two sets are sized for the dolls themselves - very small scale.

Again, incomplete sets, but I'm building my collection!!!  These two sets are newer, and probably just barely count as vintage.

In a previous post I wrote about a sugar and creamer set that I found, so, I now have 4 things in this collection!

i don't know which is my favorite! green and blue are my favorite colors, and nearly any OLD Japanese-marked dishes are almost totally irresistible!
i think i would have to choose the "bigger" set, though.
very pretty!
happy VTT!

I have seen them around in antique malls. I am sure you will find plenty to add to your collection.

I love little teasets, but I don't have any place to display them.

Ooo, I love these. Each set is darling. What fun it would be to sit down and have a tea party with a special young someone in your life! I remember doing that with my youngest niece - who's now about to turn 19! Thanks for sharing~

Oh what fun memories these bring back. Tea sets with my grands. They keep them here so we could have tea parties. They are all grown up now and I miss them so. I plan to give them to them for their children. We did not have those when I was a little girl. WWII took a lot of fun things away that were the childrens.
Your blog is beautiful. Thanks for stopping by.

How cute are those? Very very cute!

I love the first pattern, it seems to be from the 40's but that is just a guess.

Lovely things and good luck with your collection!
