Friday fragments Feb. 25
It's Friday Fragments time!
It's Friday again! Where did the week go? I did get work done at school but then there are a number of things undone.

I have a cold, just a plain old cold but it is hard to breathe, I am so stuffed up. I am giving my self time to rest and let hubby chase the kids, and I do not feel guilty about this. This may seem like a small thing, but normally for this perfectionist I would have to be half-dead before taking a nap and letting things go.

I take my work laptop home every night to do, well, more work, and my own stuff, like put up blog posts. It has always been able to connect to our home router to connect to the internet wirelessly. Except last night it didn't and today it didn't. I don't know what is wrong with it and it is most annoying.

Excitement and despair (both!) in the house of Viridian. Second son called a weekly paper for a chance to be a paperboy, was interviewed, and got the position! He is so excited and proud! Younger sister, who hoped to also get a route (but did not call the paper) was also there when the newspaper man visited our house. However there is only one route in our neighborhood. She was absolutely devastated and in tears (did I mention she is a pre-teen?) for hours. 2 days later she is better but it still hurts, I can tell.

Colds this year seem to be especially difficult to get rid of. I hope yours doesn't last long.
I very much enjoy sewing but I've never had the patience for quilting. Totally admire those that do!! Happy Friday!
Routers in general are evil. good luck getting it fixed!
Congrats on the 4 years!!! What a milestone. And congrats to your son...too bad for your daughter, but if it makes her feel any better...something better will come, I'm sure of it. Oh, and feel better soon.
That is so awesome that your son called the paper about getting route. I didn't even know papers gave routes to kids anymore.
