My first Jane block since Sept. 2011. I am getting closer - this is block 151. Unfortunately, most of the blocks left are harder blocks, with fiddly applique. And melons, lots of melons.

Dear Jane block M-8
M-8 is called Enchanted Square. It's a long weekend here and I was inspired to do a "Jane" block.
My first Jane block since Sept. 2011. I am getting closer - this is block 151. Unfortunately, most of the blocks left are harder blocks, with fiddly applique. And melons, lots of melons.

very nice, I got a pretty good start and have now slowed down to working once a week on the DJ, fingers crossed I can have a top by the end of the year- lol
I am cheating and doing raw edge applique, I love it. maybe my second quilt will be hand applique but I am not holding my breath.
