Good day, and welcome to my blog. I have been traveling for the last two weeks and have been away from my sewing nook. But I am back now and making some progress.
A spin-off group from my quilt guild meets every other month. We take on a project each meeting, often involving pre-cut fabric (jelly rolls, etc.). The project assigned in August was the pattern Limeade.
The suggested background fabric was a lime or chartreuse color, with gray and coral fabrics. It's definitely not my color scheme.
I decided to go with red, white and blue fabrics, buying the white and using red and blue fabrics from my stash.
I am in progress on this project. All parts are sewn, but I must assemble them. Here is a picture of some parts laid out:
You assemble columns, then sew the columns together. Hopefully they come out the same length! More will be reported next week. I hope to have the top completely assembled by then.
