Hello and welcome!!!
I have a binding finish to report. I described in this post a quilt top made of feedsack fabric and new white fabric. It was pretty large (80 by 80 inches) so I sent it to the local long armer. I recently got it back, and she did a great job quilting a tight stipple all over the quilt.
All old feedsack and vintage fabric, even the border. The pattern is from the Scraps Plus One book. I really like how this turned out, and I am collecting/cutting 3 inch squares for another iteration.
The back is feedsack too. I had 4 matching feedsacks and managed to find a 5th matching feedsack on ebay. How lucky was that.
A great old fashioned feel! And a finish to put on my blog.

Zig zag top complete
Good Day and welcome to my blog!
This week's post is just a continuation of last week's post on the new start: a zigzag pattern.
I had to find new fabric as I was running out of my cream colored background fabric. I did find a replacement: Kona Cream. It matches in color but has a different "hand" and thread count. So when you are really staring at the top, up close, you can see a difference, but not from a distance. Good enough for me!
The top is approximately 75 inches square.
And a close up of the blue and white:
Next question: Quilt it myself or send it to a long armer?
