Let's get to today's quilt block.
This is Stephanie's Snowflake, which I have put together wrong. It's still interesting, but not exactly like the block in the book about Jane Stickle's quilt. Oh well. As the Book says, "Finished is better than Perfect."
What is funny is that in my main Jane Stickle quilt, Christmas with Jane, I also did this block wrong, so that it looked more like a spider. Maybe I could do a quilt just with variations on this block (just kidding of course).
I am linking up with Connie at Freemotion by the River and with Quilt Story, as I do most weeks. Both blog hops have of pictures of pretty quilt blocks and other projects.
I am on Facebook too: just search for Viridian61.
I am also linking up with Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for Pink Saturday.

How funny that this block got you twice! Oh well, it still looks great, and now you have an instant story to go with the quilt.
I like that block a lot. I don't think I've ever seen it before.
Beautiful block and I like the way it looks! New design! Thanks for sharing.
Freemotion at the River Linky Party Tuesday
It is very cute and I just made 2 blocks with my BOM 90 degrees off. The blocks were so hard and I thought they looked fine just the way they were. I think that's how new blocks are made anyway!
Looks great to me. Has nice balance. Now you have me curious... must go look at the book. lol.
I like your block. You may have an idea for a book....Variations in DJ. I could add a block to that....:)
Happy accidents are just new quilt blocks! I love it - your block drew me in on Quilt Story's blog post today, so well done!
Well that is certainly one beautiful block! I really like yours.
Since I am a big lover of quilts, I would probably not ever notice anything wrong. I think you do a great job.
Lovely pattern.
