Here is this week's quilt block:
This Jane Stickle block is called Meg's Mountain Laurel. It is supposed to have diamonds in the big plain triangles (pieced in or appliqued on, your choice). I had enough of a struggle with the little diamonds in the interior that I just did not want to do yet more diamonds.
I am linking up with Connie at Freemotion by the River and with Quilt Story, as I do most weeks. Both blog hops have of pictures of pretty quilt blocks and other projects.
I am on Facebook too: just search for Viridian61.
Sept. 11: I am always sad on this day.
Edited to add: I am also linking up with Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for Pink Saturday.

I like the block--it is quite lovely:)
Another beautiful block and I like it even without the diamond in the middle! Yes, this is always a sad day. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, Viridian, it's a wonderful looking block! Did you paper piece the diamonds? They look perfect! Found you through the Quilt Story linky :)
I do not make quilts, but love them. I have way too many old and new. I really like this pattern.
Visiting from Pink Saturday...I love your quilt block. I am a new quilter and am amazed at what others can do with pieces of fabric! Thanks for sharing!
