Hey, who says that pink, red and blue don't go together? Not Salinda Rupp, the maker of this quilt, back in 1870's Pennsylvania. These colors are very close to those in the original quilt.
Happy PS, amazing how many different color combinations and design combinations there are, it makes you wonder what some of those ladies of the 1800's could/would do if they had today's tools and selection/availbility to them as we do.

Wow! What a lovely piece of quilt artwork! As I recall, my grandmother's work was very varied. She used what she had in the scrap bag. I love that.
