Good day! And welcome to my periodic Tuesday share. Today we have a Jane Stickle block, A -10:
This can be a tough one, involving set in seams or applique of those triangles. I added lines, subtracted lines, and pieced the whole thing, then appliqued the melon in the middle. It's not quite like the original in Bennington, but it works for me.

Nov. 24 Friday Finish
Hello and welcome! It's the day after thanksgiving for the USA crowd, and I am staying away from the stores today. In between other things I hope to get some Jane Stickle blocks done.
Here is another block from row M, near the bottom of the quilt, finishing at 4.5 inches:

Needs another press I see. I'll flatten it under a book. This is M-8, called Enchanted Square.

Tuesday Quilt Triangles
Welcome to my blog, mostly covering my on going obsession with 4.5 inch blocks in the style of Jane Stickle! Only this Tuesday, let me share some Dear Jane triangles:
In addition to my Indigo quilt project, I also have (on hiatus) a pink and white quilt I am making for my daughter. Fortunately she is willing to wait. These triangles finish at 5 inches by 8 inches.

Friday finish Nov. 17
Good morning out there in blog land!
I am continuing on with my work on Jane Stickle blocks, finishing at 4.5 inches. I have done most of the blocks at the top of the quilt (row A) and I have also been dipping into row M, the bottom of the quilt, as pictured in the book published about this quilt.
Here is M-12 (Hopscotch).
Not too difficult and I could have used templates, but I used paper piecing.

Remember all blocks finish at 4.5 inches! Fun with paper piecing!

Friday Quilt - A finish!
OH, I just remembered! I have a finish that I did not share here!
Finished two weeks ago, a pineapple blossom quilt using old old stash, fat quarters, yardage, etc. fro the 1990's and early 2000's. The pattern is from Bonnie Hunter's web site - a free pattern. I set the blocks together differently that what she shows - but I have seen other quilters use this setting:

The triangles are a pale yellow marbled fabric, and the border is a tone on tone blue floral. I think it turned out well, and as with all of Bonnie's patterns, if you follow her directions and keep a constant seam allowance, all the corners match!
Here is a close-up:
I had it quilted by a local lady who does long-arm quilting. I trimmed and bound the quilt in the same blue fabric as the border.

Tuesday Quilt block Nov. 7
Good day everyone!
Time to share another block in the style of Jane Stickle. I have been making these little 4.5 inch blocks at the rate of 2 to 3 a week. I haven't yet tried some of the difficult or complicated blocks yet. They will come in their own time.
This one is A-8 or Florence Nightingale.

Compared to the original, I switched the positioning of focus fabric and background. This is a pretty simple block to do, either by templates or paper piecing.

Friday Quilt block
Hmm, what block should I share this time? I am continuing on my indigo and white project in the style of Jane Stickle. I have made a number of blocks in the top row (the A row,) and since then I have branched out and made some others that caught my eye. Like this one:
This is K 12, called Doris' Dilemma. It can be completely paper pieced rather easily.
