Tuesday Quilt Project July 22

Today I do not have a quilt block, but I do have a work in progress.

I have been working on a new throw or nap quilt for myself this past month or so.  It is using actual fabric and feedsack scraps from the 30's and 40's that I have purchases from people on line and ebay.  The top is together and looks like:

I'll add that the muslin squares between the four patches is new.  All other fabric is old, but for the most part pretty sturdy.

I am now auditioning feedsack fabric for a simple 4 inch or so border.  This lavender print has risen to the top:

Tuesday quilt block, July 15

A big weather front blew in last night, and now it is a chilly 62 degrees at 9 AM! Chilly for July 15!

Time to keep up with m Tuesday quilt blocks. And time to make more!

This is A-5 of the Jane Stickle quilt, also known as Cathie's Campfire.  That aqua fabric is a bit bright!  This block turned out much better than the very first time I made this, I must say.

Hello, it is Tuesday again, and time for a Jane Stickle block - this time a star.

Looks like an Ohio Star block with borders, and it is indeed a Jane Stickle block.

July! summer is really here!

It's Tuesday and time for another quilt block.

This one is called Magic Block, I believe. (A Jane Stickle block). I really like how it turned out.
