Tuesday Quilt block

There is a thunderstorm this AM with plenty of lightning and scary thunder, but also rain. So we are happy!

Time for a quilt block, and time to make more!

Another Jane Stickle block, an Ohio Star as we know it now, with borders.  Unfortunately I have left most of the very hard ones, including the all applique ones, until the end.  So after the simple blocks I have been sharing lately, they get harder and harder....

I am linking up with Connie at Quilting by the River and with Quilt Story. Both blog hops have lots of pictures of people with quilt blocks and projects.

Your points are perfect! I'm such a fan of quilts with lots of HSTs! I took a beginner's applique workshop, but I just cannot get the hang of it ... nor the desire. Plus I just plain prefer pieced blocks ... with lots of HSTs! ha!
