Hello and welcome on this cold windy day in the American Midwest!
I have the beginnings of a new quilt project to share today. I had out on my sewing table a range of dark blue and brown reproduction fabrics, piles from a log cabin top I worked on (fairly) recently. I was inspired by the pattern Fun with Bricks on Bonnie Hunter's free patterns page, so I got to work cutting strips, and squares of unbleached muslin. I started after Christmas in 2021.
Here is one square:
Following Bonnie's pattern exactly. The values of the dark fabrics are the same, but note how "pinwheels" appear in the center if you orient the fabrics a certain way. This could be interesting in scraps of two differing colors and somewhat different values.
Well, that block may not be too exciting. But note the diagonal movement when you set some blocks together:
Set side by side, not sewn together yet. I am still attracted to patterns with this kind of movement! I hope I find time in the next few weeks to sew more blocks together!

I really like your quilt and how it looks so complicated yet it is all made with very simple blocks.
The fabric does the work in this one -- a nice design.
I'll have to take a look at the directions on Bonnie's blog. I've made several of her free quilts over the years. Hope you can get some more sewing time in on the brown quilt.
I am glad you kept going on this one - that cream/light adds so a cool contrast to the darks!!! Lovely!!!
Great colors and fabrics for this design. Nicely done.
