Top done: Limeade (in different colors)

Good day, and welcome to my blog.

I am happy to report that I have a top now, in the Limeade pattern.  As described in a previous post, the suggested colors for this pattern were quite unappealing.  I chose red, white, and blue as my colors for this pattern.

The top:

A close to square top, at about 56 by 59 inches, according to the pattern.  And all the columns lined up nicely, hurrah.  A close-up:

A variety of navy blue fabrics were used.  The red is constant.

I will admit that I am tired of this project now.  After showing it to my quilt group, I am going to offer it (and 1 yard of leftover white fabric) to anyone who wants to finish it.

Your fabric choices are a huge improvement from the original pattern picture. It's beautiful and someone in your group will love to finish it.

I absolutely adore this quilt, Viridian. So sorry you're tired of it now. I'm sure you will be able to find someone who will finish it. Love the RWB and really love the white background with the stars. Thanks for sharing with us at Monday Musings.

I've had projects that I grew bored with. Good for you to stick with it and finish it! If no one else is interested, I'd like to take it and finish it and donate it a fellow quilter for a QOV. Thanks for sharing in Sew & Tell.
