Happy day after Christmas!
Time for another Tuesday Quilt block!
This week, the Jane Stickle Facebook group is sharing photos of A-13. I did mine by paper piecing and machine sewing and it almost worked - one seam is a bit off.
But you can hardly tell, so I am good with it!

Friday Finish Dec. 22
Good day on this busy Friday just before the holidays!!
I am posting a little late for me because I made 10 dozen cookies today! I am tired!
It's time to share block or triangle with everyone.
This is triangle #11 from the bottom row of the Jane Stickle quilt. Paper piecing, a little fiddly.
Linking up with Can I get a Whoop Whoop , Finished or Not at Busy Hands quilts, and Finish it up Friday at Crazy mom quilts.

Tuesday Triangle Dec. 19
My goodness the holidays are almost upon us!
It's time to share another quilt block, in my case, a Jane Stickle triangle. The Facebook group is sharing Top Row triangle Bennington Cross:
One in pink for my daughter's quilt. Hmm she is growing up fast, must get going on this.

Friday Finish Dec. 15
Good day and welcome!
I am still finding time to work on my quilt blocks, even though it's a busy week.
And news this week: I am starting the triangles for my Jane Stickle project in indigo and white! It's a big decision because you can't do just a couple, but enough to go around the quilt: 52 if you do a full sized project. So far, I have made two triangles. One of them is below:

This is BR 1, on the left-hand side of the bottom row of the quilt as it usually pictured. 5 inches by 8 inches. One of the easier triangles if you are comfortable with paper piecing. And I am!

Tuesday Quilt block Dec. 12
Good day!
It's a busy time at chez Viridian, with the holidays coming up. But I find time to plug away at my blocks in the style of Jane Stickle, finishing at 4.5 inches square.
This week, the Facebook group is sharing images and advice on block A-12. Many little pieces!
Detailed paper piecing, then assembly of different sections. I see my points are a little off. Oh well, can' t see it from 20 feet away!

Good morning, and happy Friday morning!
I am continuing on my Dear Jane journey, blocks in the style of Jane Stickle. Here is yet another block from row M, the bottom of the quilt as normally shown:

This is M-4 or Stepping Stones.
Complex, but do-able with paper piecing.

Dec. 5 Tuesday Quilt block
Hello and welcome!
I am continuing on my journey of 4.5 inch blocks in the style of Jane Stickle.
This week the Jane Facebook group is sharing images of A-11, Pebble's Protest. This block involves some set-in seams (Y seams) if you do it the way Jane has done it in her quilt. I added some lines, and redrew the large corner squares into several smaller shapes.
First image, partially assembled:
Next step:
And finally complete:
Well the squares don't quite line up, so not a complete success, though I did avoid the set in seams. I guess you won't be able to see it from 20 feet away or more!

Dec. 1 Friday Finish
Welcome to December - it seems like this year is flying by.
Time to share another quilt block in my ongoing project - Indigo Jane. These sweet blocks finish at 4.5 inches and we'll see how many I get done before collapsing in a heap! I am following the patterns in the Dear Jane book by Brenda Papadakis.
In addition to finishing all the blocks in the top row, I have been dipping into the bottom of the quilt, row I. This is I-2 (Kaye's Courtyard), just finished last night.

Using an older fabric I just excavated from the mess that is my sewing room.
