Mid to late September is the time for fringed gentians in New England. The blue with a hint of blue-purple is beyond my description. Click to enlarge and enjoy. However, no monitor can catch the true color you see with your own eyes.

It is so lovely to see such a vibrant blue flower among the reds and yellows and oranges of fall. Thanks for sharing this with us. I hope you are having a wonderful Blue Monday.
Beautiful! Good thing there are still blue flowers you saw in your surroundings. Its getting cooler now in our place.
I just love BLUE flowers, perhaps because they're so rare. You've brought a pretty BLUE to show us today. Happy Blue Monday.
The flowers look delicate and so pretty!
Gorgeous flowers! The color is beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
Those are SO lovely. I think they are even prettier than the lupines I saw blooming years ago in New England. Love that shade of blue. Thank you for sharing...
Happy Blue Monday!

Sheila :-)
